Closing Ceremony of Capacity Building Program for University Management Khairpur Mirs, December 20, 2024 – The National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) - Higher Education Commission (HEC) successfully concluded the one-week Capacity Building Program for University Management hosted at the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skills Development, Khairpur Mirs. The program, held from December 16 to December 20, 2024, aimed at enhancing the skills of university management through a series of comprehensive training sessions. The closing ceremony marked the culmination of five days of intensive learning, with participation from university management professionals across the region. The program covered key modules, including Business Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership, Policy, and Strategy, Financial Management, and Procurement Planning. Prominent experts and resource persons led the sessions, including: Day 1: Dr. Shahida Sajjad (Metropolitan University Karachi) on business communication strategies. Day 2: Dr. Nazia Suleman (COMSATS University Vehari Campus) on interpersonal and workplace practices. Day 3: Ms. Ambreen Barwani (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Karachi) on leadership and policy formulation. Day 4: Mr. Kazi Abdul Muktadir (International Consultants Associates, Karachi) on financial management and auditing practices. Day 5: Mr. Kazi Abdul Muktadir (International Consultants Associates, Karachi) on procurement planning and compliance with PPRA rules. The closing ceremony included remarks by the Vice Chancellor of BBSUTSD, Khairpur Mirs, Prof. Dr Rasool Bux Mahar who commended the participants' dedication and the organizers' efforts in making the program a success. He emphasized the importance of continued professional development to foster excellence in university management and administration. Especially he praised effort of Tahir Mahmood Program coordinator, NAHE and Director ORIC of BBSUTSD, Dr. Imdad Thaheem for their efforts to make this training for successful. Certificates were distributed to the participants, acknowledging their active engagement throughout the sessions.
