Khairpur Mirs, Tuesday, 3rd Sep 2024 – A high-level delegation from the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, led by Mr. Kamran Siddiq, Senior HSEQ Engineer, and Syed Qamar Zaman Shah, Regional Coordinator, visited Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBSUTSD) to explore collaboration opportunities. Discussions centered on training programs for OGDCL management and employees, as well as community development initiatives under OGDCL’s CSR projects for residents in concession areas. The delegation also focused on the establishment of new labs with advanced equipment, strengthening existing labs, and securing funding for the latest computers for the computer lab. BBSUTSD’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, elaborates on requirements for scholarships for students, internship opportunities, job placements for graduates, and additional CSR-funded projects. The OGDCL team visited the university’s laboratories, classrooms, auditorium, workshops, hostel, and cafeteria, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the institution’s facilities and resources. The visit highlighted the commitment of both institutions to drive innovation and development. The delegation engaged with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Registrar Mir Sajjad Hussain Talpur, and the Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, Heads of Departments, faculty, staff, and students.
