The Department of Electronics Engineering Technology organized the guest speaker session titled "๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฎ๐›๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ (๐๐ˆ๐‚๐ฌ) & ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก-๐„๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ" on Thursday, October 5th, 2023. The session aimed to provide valuable insights into the realm of the Tech-entrepreneurship ecosystem and ignite the spirit of entrepreneurial passion among students and faculty alike. The session was chaired by the Honorable Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice-Chancellor of BBSUTSD, and conducted by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐†๐ก๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ ๐๐š๐›๐ข ๐Š๐š๐ฅ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐จ, ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐„๐ ๐๐ˆ๐‚๐ฌ, ๐’๐ฎ๐ค๐ค๐ฎ๐ซ & ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ฃ๐š๐› ๐ˆ๐“ ๐๐จ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐๐š๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง. The event drew attendance from Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, Faculty members, officers, and a large number of students. In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Mahar emphasized the paramount importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in today's technology-driven society. He stressed the significance of transforming ideas into products and solutions that address societal challenges while adding value. Mr. Kalhoro provided valuable insights into the realm of the Tech-Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. He highlighted the integration of technology and entrepreneurship, discussed current trends in techno-entrepreneurship, delved into the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Pakistan, emphasized the importance of startup enablement, explored methods for generating innovative business ideas, and shed light on the abundant opportunities in National Incubation Centers (NICs). In the concluding remarks, Dr. Aftab Ahmed Soomro reinforced the significance of the knowledge gained during the session. He encouraged all attendees to put their newfound insights into action, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that can shape the future of technology and business in Pakistan. Finally, Engr. Shazia Feroz, Chairperson of ESET, Dr. Aftab Ahmed Soomro, Chairperson of MET, and Izhar Hussain Memon, Lecturer at ESET, honored the guest with a cultural souvenir as a token ofย appreciation.
