Dr Hassan Ali Soomro was born on May 01, 1985 in Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan. He received his B.E in Electrical Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology Nawabshah, Pakistan in 2008 and M.E degree in Electrical Engineering from University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in 2016. He attended the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering in October 2016. His research interests include design and optimization of Electric machines for various applications. In particular, his research focuses on Dual Stator Flux Switching motor using segmental rotor structure for aircraft applications.
