The 10th meeting of the Syndicate of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH), Khairpur, was held on April 24, 2026, at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat of the University.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Aftab Ahmed Soomro, followed by the introduction of participants.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor warmly welcomed all honorable members of the Syndicate and expressed sincere gratitude for their participation. He extended special thanks to Madam Tanzila Ume Habiba (MPA), Syed Asad Ali Shah, Dr. Noman Abid (Nominee, Sindh HEC), Dr. Muneer Ahmed Mirjat (Nominee, HEC Islamabad), Mr. Sohail Anwar Baloch (Special Secretary, Universities & Boards Department, Government of Sindh), Mr. Liaquat Ali Shar (Additional Advocate General, Sindh High Court), Dr. Ghulam Jaffer Soomro, and other distinguished members from faculty and administration.
The Syndicate thoroughly reviewed the agenda items and deliberated on key matters concerning the university’s academic and administrative affairs. After detailed discussion, the Syndicate approved important decisions based on the recommendations of the Selection Board, including cases related to appointments and promotions of officers.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Syndicate’s commitment to strengthening institutional governance, promoting merit, and enhancing the academic and professional standards of the university.
