Two day 4th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering Technology (IMCEET) was inaugurated on May 14, 2026 by Honorable Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Member Provincial Assembly and former Chief Minister Sindh at new building of the University.

The conference was attended physically by national level academicians and researchers from Karachi, Jamshoro, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Larkano and Khairpur.

Prof Dr Yousuf Khushik Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Prof Dr Nek Muhammad Sheikh Vice Chancellor University of Larkano, Prof Dr Naveed Ahmed Sheikh Vice Chancellor Sheikh Ayaz University Shikarpur, Deans, Rectors, Directors, Chairpersons of several public sector & private universities, R&D organizations, civil society activists, media persons, faculty members, students participated in the conference and appreciated the academic and research initiatives like organizing an International Conference, in the leadership of Prof Dr Rasool Bux Mahar.

Additionally, several distinguished academics from countries like Canada, Malaysia and USA participated in the conference through online mode and presented their latest research papers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Climate change, Renewable energy and other fields.

The academic part of the first day of the conference concluded at 7 pm, later a Sufi Singer enthralled the guests and hosts with positive energy of music.
