The 5th meeting of Senate of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development BBS-UTECH, Khairpur Mirs, was held on 31st March, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice Chancellor. The Senate considered and approved the Annual report of the University for the year 2025. The report was presented in detail by Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice Chancellor highlighting the academic progress, administrative development, international linkages and achievement made by the University during the year under review. The Senate appreciated the efforts of the University Administration for promoting the Quality Education and Educational Growth.
The Senate also discussed the University Budget for the financial year 2025-26 along with expenditure for the financial year 2024-25 and the annual budget for Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui IT Centers located in the different Talukas of District Khairpur. After through deliberations, the Budget was approved ensuring allocation of the resources for the academic excellence, infrastructure development and enhancement of Technical and Skill base education.
The members of the Senate express satisfaction over the progress of the University and emphasized need for further strengthening of Academic programs, research initiatives and industry linkages.

Abdul Jabbar Shaikh, Mr. Kashif Raza, Director Finance, Mr. Sajjad Hussain Talpur, Registrar, Prof. Ghulam Rasool Makka, Principal GCT S.I.T.E Karachi, Prof. Muneer Ahmed Khuhro, Principal GCT Hyderabad, Dr. Muhammad Saleh Shah, Principal GCT Larkana, Directors, Chairpersons, Librarians, Faculty members and Officers.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
