Khairpur Mirs, December 24, 2025: The Academic Council meeting of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH), Khairpur Mir’s was held on December 24, 2025, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice Chancellor, BBS-UTECH Khairpur Mirs.
The meeting was attended by the respected members of the Academic Council, including Prof. Dr. Abdul Fatah Chandio Dean, Faculty of Electrical, Electronics & Computer Science, QUEST Nawabshah, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Chandio, Mr. Zulfiqar A. Deputy Secretary Universities & Boards Department, Govt. of Sindh, Deans, Chairpersons of Teaching Departments, Principals of affiliated college, representative of Sindh TEVTA, senior faculty members, and university officers.
During the meeting, various academic matters were discussed in detail, including curriculum review, examination-related issues, review of academic programs, and measures for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning at the university. The Academic Council deliberated on proposals placed before it and provided valuable guidance to ensure alignment with HEC academic standards and the vision of the university.
Chairing the session, Professor Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar emphasized the importance of academic excellence, innovation, and skill-oriented education in line with the university’s mandate. He appreciated the constructive input of the members and stressed the need for continuous improvement in academic planning and governance.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
