The Office of Registrar in a University acts as the Principal Office and Secretariat to the Statutory bodies i-e the Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council & Selection Board. This office is primarily responsible for Human Resource Management and Administration whereas Academic and Student related matters are dealt with by it through assistance from relevant offices. In its role as Principal Office, the Registrar's Office is the custodian of common seal & academic records, maintains a register of graduates, and contacts office between the University and external stakeholders i-e Government departments & community at large.
