Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH), Khairpur Mirs, hosted the UniversityโIndustry Strategic Dialogue on Emerging Technologies and Future Skills in a hybrid format, with participants attending both in person and online. The event marked a significant milestone in the Universityโs efforts to strengthen engagement between Academia, Industry, and Development Organizations.
Held under the theme โ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ง๐ผ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผ๐โ๐ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ๐,โ the dialogue brought together representatives of national and international companies, public-sector institutions, development organizations, and technical and vocational institutions. Participants discussed evolving workplace needs and the role of universities in preparing graduates with relevant knowledge and skills.

The programme began with opening remarks, followed by a presentation introducing the University to the participants. A panel discussion provided a forum to exchange perspectives on emerging technologies, future skills, workforce readiness, and opportunities for universityโindustry collaboration. Recommendations were announced at the conclusion of the discussion. The Directorate of IndustryโAcademia Linkages delivered the vote of thanks.
