The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH) proudly hosted a high-level Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) delegation from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad to conducted a visit to review the ongoing development project.
The distinguished HEC delegation comprised:
· Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, Member (Strategic Planning), HEC, Islamabad
· M. Yasir Anwar, Deputy Director (M&E), HEC, Islamabad
· Mr. Sohail Raza Mangi, Deputy Director (M&E), HEC, Islamabad
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by the university leadership. The visit commenced with a detailed presentation on the project's progress, scope, and future roadmap. Under the dynamic and visionary guidance of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, BBS-UTECH has seen unprecedented advancements in infrastructure, academic excellence, and technological skill development. The Vice Chancellor’s steadfast commitment to transforming the institution into a premier hub of technical education was highly commended by the visiting officials.
Following the presentation, the delegation proceeded to visit the ongoing project site area to observe the physical progress firsthand. As a gesture of goodwill and a commitment to environmental sustainability, an honorary plantation activity was also carried out at the site by the delegates and university officials.
After the official proceedings, the delegation was treated to a special cultural excursion to the historic Faiz Mahal in Khairpur Mirs. This visit was arranged as a gesture of goodwill and a compliment from BBS-UTECH to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region to the distinguished guests.
To honor their visit and express gratitude for their valuable insights, souvenirs were presented to the HEC delegates by the university administration.
The successful monitoring visit and the subsequent cultural tour underscored BBS-UTECH’s commitment not only to academic and infrastructural excellence but also to fostering strong institutional ties and promoting the cultural legacy of Khairpur Mirs.
