BBS-UTECH successfully organized a pre-departure ceremony and orientation meeting for students along with their parents selected under the International Multi-Country China–Foreign Joint Training Camp 2026, on June 08, 2026:
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr.
Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice Chancellor and attended by Mir Sajjad Hussain Talpur, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Manthar Ali Keerio, Dean, Faculty of Engineering Technology; Engr. Arif Hussain, Program Coordinator, BBS-UTECH; and Mr. Wang Jian, Program Coordinator from Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology (HIMET), China (through online mode).
During the session, university officials briefed attendees on program logistics, support systems, and pre-departure steps. Special parent discussions addressed safety, academics, cultural adaptation, and international exposure, leading to high parental satisfaction. The event ended with the distribution of JW Forms and Visas.
In partnership with China’s Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology (HIMET), BBS-UTECH launched the first cohort of its international exchange program. Eight selected students will join a joint training camp and World Skills Competition, representing Pakistan and BBS-UTECH alongside participants from multiple countries.
