In a significant move to promote digital literacy and empower the youth of rural Sindh, a laptop distribution ceremony was held at the Prof. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui IT Center, Kotdiji. The event aimed to equip deserving students with the necessary technological tools to excel in the modern digital landscape.
The laptops were generously donated by the Hidayat Jumani Welfare Trust, with the event organized by the Ghulam Fatima Kasim Welfare Trust. The initiative is part of a broader effort to bridge the digital divide and provide students with access to essential IT resources.
The ceremony was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammad Mubeen Jumani, who led the distribution of the laptops to the students. He was accompanied by the Guest of Honour, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Vice Chancellor of BBS-UTECH, Khairpur Mirs.
During the ceremony, the Chief Guest and the Vice Chancellor personally handed over the laptops to the students. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Mohammad Mubeen Jumani encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity. He reiterated the Hidayat Jumani Welfare Trust's commitment to supporting educational causes and fostering a culture of technological proficiency among the region's youth.
Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar also addressed the gathering and emphasized the transformative power of technology in education. He lauded Chief Guest Mr. Mohammad Mubeen Jumani and the Hidayat Jumani Welfare Trust for their philanthropic vision and generous contributions.
