Director ORIC, BBS-UTECH, on the instructions of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr
Rasool Bux Mahar, represented the University during 1st Roundtable Meeting of Directors of ORICs / BICs of the public sector & private sector universities of Sindh, on Friday June 05, 2026 at Karachi.
This is an initiative of Sindh Enterprise & Incubation Centre (SEIC), Ministry of Science & Information Technology, Government of Sindh to create an enabling environment of Entrepreneurship & Startups for young people of Sindh.
Prominent in attendance were Prof Dr Javaid Laghari, former Chairman HEC, Mr Noor Ahmed Samo, Secretary Govt of Sindh, Mr Asif Ikram, Secretary Govt of Sindh, Mr Zuhair Sidddiqui, CEO Sapphire Consultants, senior officials of Govt of Sindh, Entrepreneurs, Private Sector and representatives.
Director ORIC, BBS-UTECH, presented the progress made and challenges being faced by BIC / ORIC.
It was resolved that such experience sharing meetings will be held on a quarterly basis
