Khairpur, September 25, 2024 – Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBSUTSD) Khairpur proudly inaugurated Plantation Week today, with great enthusiasm and participation from faculty, staff, students, and various departments. The event, organized by the SDG Section, GYM Club, and the Sports Section, marks the beginning of a week-long drive aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing the greenery on campus. The inauguration ceremony saw active involvement from the Dean, Registrar, Chairpersons, SDG Ambassadors, GYM Club members, and students from the Civil Engineering Department. Many trees were successfully planted across the campus, making this initiative a vibrant success. We extend our special thanks to the Divisional Forest Office, Khairpur, Government of Sindh, for their invaluable support and collaboration in providing the trees and technical assistance, which ensured the smooth execution of the event. BBSUTSD is committed to contributing to a greener future, aligning with the university’s goal of sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Plantation Week is part of our continued efforts to involve students and staff in meaningful activities that positively impact the environment.
